Another prince in exile

Set about 20 years after Kaiser Wilhelm was deposed and living in exile in Holland during WWII, this is a fascinating time period and an engaging film. The fictional portion of the film includes a twisted romance. The surprising thing is that it received a mediocre rating on another well-known rating site. This reviewer’s theory is that today’s viewers, who want violence, flipped cars and sci-fi fantasy, tend to downgrade cinema about human relationships. Definitely worth seeing, starring Lily James (Downton Abbey) and Christopher Plummer. 2016. See where it is streaming on justwatch.com
